11)  SHARING THE WORD

“And when he saw their faith….”  Luke 5:20

There is still a place for faith in the age of law.  We have discarded the faith which

was a  blind leap from the end of reason and have set aside  faith as “belief in the things

we know aren’t so,” but faith is constant and eternal if it be founded upon the Rock.

The faith of the farmer in the laws of nature, the cowboy on his pinto when they are

caught in a blizzard, the faith of a child in his parents when he hears the murmur of their

voices as he lies in his little bed.  The childlike faith which is in accord with all law and with

all observable phenomena still binds man to God and brings the blessing of the Infinite into

our lives as in Jesus’ day it brought blessing when he saw real faith.

Faith is more than hope – it is costly, but it binds man to God.
