~SECOND SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP! Sunday, July 11th will be our church family picnic fellowship following the worship service. Everyone is invited!
~FIREWORKS BOOTH FUNDRAISER: – Fireworks Fundraiser booth is now open! Come on out and support the Worship Team / Community Youth and Music Ministries. Money raised from the fireworks booth will go towards buying guitars for students to use and the music program.

4) CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

~Two Community Bible Study Prayer Meetings will begin praying on Tuesdays, July 6, from 7-8 PM at Cornerstone Covenant Church. Prayer meetings will be on Tuesdays to petition the Lord to raise up an evening Community Bible Study class and a high school CBS. If you are interested in CBS and joining, please call with questions to Denise Brenda (668-3811).

~CHRISTMAS IN JULY – Covenant Trust Company’s 3rd Annual Variety Show in Berg Hall at Covenant Village of Turlock – Thursday, July 8Th at 6:30 PM. You don’t want to miss this extravaganza.
~Turlock Pregnancy Center is a community outreach providing information, peer counseling and resources in support of life affirming choice and sexual responsibility. Volunteer opportunities exist at TPC. Call 656-9898 to find out what positions are needed, and when the next training dates are.

9) SHARING THE WORD
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, who mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3
Spiritual pose, so much needed in the stress of modern life, is not a human achievement: it is a gift of God. God has not simply created our mental machinery: our thoughts are His present care. We are not to cultivate calmness, we are to cultivate God. This sacred intimacy of the soul realized, the great result ensues. “The peace of God shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. The word “peace” is suggestive of the process. In the Greek, the thought is adjustment after alienation. An alien is one who owes allegiance to another country. The secret of our modern unrest is that men, living in God’s world, are still owing allegiance to some other sovereign. They are not right with God, and so nothing is right.
