9) SHARING THE WORD

~We celebrated the birth of our great nation, the United States of America. We are blessed to be part of a nation founded on Christian values. Unfortunately, our freedoms are eroding as our nation continues to slip further away from the God of our forefathers. There is still hope!

God said, In 2 Chroncles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

That means if Christians (My People)  – not the lost – will heed this advice, if we will turn from our wicked ways, pray, and seek God’s face, He will forgive our shortcomings, our apathy – our sin – and heal our land. Won’t you join me in a time of heart-searching, repentance, and rededication? Let’s truly seek God’s face and pray for our nation every day as we celebrated its independence on July 4.

In anticipation of God’s blessings. For Christ and His Kingdom,

Denzil L. Hoskins – Congregational Care
