~Operation Christmas Child -

We want to thank each of you who participated with Operation Christmas Child. There were 31 boxes collected, what A Simple Gift

 

 ~Birthday Dessert Night – If you have a birthday in the month of December you are invited to the home of Greg & Amanda Oppenhuizen. Thursday, December 8th at 6:30 PM. Directions will be in the church foyer.

Our village family invites you to share our Christmas hospitality, it’s as cozy as a cup of spiced cider. Visit with residents and staff lit from within with the love of the season. 5) COMMUNITY OUTREACH

~Cornerstone will be hosting Turlock Gospel Mission Dec. 1st –  3rd @ 5:30pm

 

~TURLOCK TOGETHER has provided Cornerstone a blue barrel to collect food and toys during the Christmas season for those in need during the holidays. The blue barrel will replace Food Collection Sunday until December 9th. “TOGETHER” we can make a difference.

 

YOUTH FUNDRAISING - CHIC, Camps, and Outreaches are coming up and so is fundraising for the youth group! We will wrap all of your Christmas gifts for a donation on December 17 and December 23 from 12pm-6pm. Please let your friends and family members know we are wrapping gifts. The more people who know about the event, the more successful it can be. Thank you for the many gift wrapping items we received. We have more than enough gift wrap and ribbon and are so thankful. If you would like to still donate, we are in need of tape and boxes. If you are interested in helping the youth group fund raise or have ideas for another fundraiser, please contact Danielle Marty or Pastor Josh.

6) CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

~SUNDAY SCHOOL

Learning, Living, Loving Your Faith Sunday’s at 9 AM, Room A-7 – We will investigate how we came to accept what we believe and what alternatives might have been available. Instructor: Lloyd Ahlem

 ~CHILDREN CHURCH Sunday mornings at 10:15 – Rm A-2 – Kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome!
