3) IN AND AROUND CORNERSTONE

Saturday, December 31st is the last day for charitable gifts to be considered deductible for the 2011 tax year, all gifts given by cash or check need to be received at Cornerstone on December 30th before noon, or, if mailed, must have a postmark no later than Saturday, December 31st. (If you are mailing on the 31st, please be sure you watch the postmark being applied.) If you are hand delivering monetary gifts to the office (any time of the year), for maximum security, please have them placed in the locked “mail box” in the work room.

 

~Memorial Service in Honor of Donald Johnson

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 7, at Berg Hall in Covenant Village, Turlock in memory of Don Johnson.

 

~Perspectives 15 Week Bible Study – “Get Threaded into the Story” will be held at Big Valley Grace Church in Modesto for 15 weeks, pick up a brochure on Sunday. To get an overview about Perspectives visit www.Perspectives.org

5) CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

 

~ADULT CLASSES – Sunday, January 8th, Lloyd Ahlem’s Sunday School will reconvene through the month of January 8th at 9 AM, Room A-7.

 

Wednesday evening Adult Bible Study will continue with the book of Matthew. Class will start back up on Wednesday, January 4th at 7 PM in room A-7.

 

~DISICIPLESHIP CLASSES – Discipleship Classes will be taking a short winter break beginning December 18 through January 10th, 2012. More information will be provided when the classes will reconvene. If you have any questions please call the church office at 667-6768.

 

~CHILDREN CHURCH-Sunday mornings at 10:15 – Rm A-2 – Kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome!

 

~STUDENTS MINISTRIES – Winter break beginning December 21 – January 4th

 WINTERFEST 2012

We are ready to head up to Heavenly Hills Christian Camp in Twain Hart January 14-16, 2012. All Jr. High and High School students are welcome to attend. We will not leave any student behind that wants to go! If you will need help with registration fee, please see Josh Kirkpatrick, Youth Director
