~Memorial Service in Honor of Donald Johnson
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 7, at Berg Hall in Covenant Village, Turlock in memory of Don Johnson.

Thank you to all the preschool workers as well as the parents for all your help on the children’s Christmas program, both practicing as well as on Christmas morning. I could not have done it without you.

~A Bridal Shower for Chelsea Gibbs will be Friday, January 20, 6:30 PM at the home of Sue Bonander. The Bride to be is registered at Macy’s and Bed, Bath & Beyond.

~Membership Class – A membership class will offered soon for anyone who is interested in joining or would like to know about the history of the Covenant Church. If you are interested please see Pastor Greg or a council member.
~An Evening with Golden State Quartet - Club 3:16 Youth Group invites you to join us on January 21st at 5pm for a fundraiser dinner and a show. Club 3:16 will be preparing you a spaghetti dinner and then we will sing throughout the night to the Gospel sounds of The Golden State Quartet. This night will be inspired by the streets of Italy and will be a formal event. This fundraiser will help enable students to participate and experience the triennial CHIC 2012 Convention in July. Tickets for the dinner are $10 each, for table of eight $50. You can purchase the tickets through Students Ministries or contact the office at 667-6768.

Wednesday Nights Adult Bible Study – 7 PM – Leader: Dr. Lloyd Ahlem, Room A-7
Young Couples – Tuesday evenings – 7 PM,
We will be starting the “Love and Respect” series on January 10th. A 6 – week video study with Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. Love and Respect study is based on the biblical passage from Ephesians 5:33. Contact Shiloh Mininger for information at 201-3231. Study is held at Justin & Danielle Marty’s.
~SUNDAY SCHOOL
Beginning January 8 – Lloyd Ahlem’s Sunday School will meet at 9 AM, Room A-7.
Children Church-Sunday mornings at 10:15 AM – Rm A-2 – Kindergarten through fifth grade is dismissed during worship. Childcare is provided during the worship hour at 10 AM

WINTERFEST 2012
We are ready to head up to Heavenly Hills Christian Camp in Twain Hart January 14-16, 2012. All Jr. High and High School students are welcome to attend. We will not leave any student behind that wants to go! If you will need help with the registration fee, please see Josh Kirkpatrick, Youth Director.
