~Baby News - Congratulations to Greg and Amanda Oppenhuizen on their new baby girl! Ruby Mae was born on May 5^th and weighed 6lbs. 10ozs., 19 inches in length, she was welcomed home by brothers Tadeus, Samuel and sister Piper.

~Birthday Dessert – If you have a birthday in May, you and your spouse are invited to the Oppenhuizen home for our monthly Birthday Dessert. This is a great opportunity to meet and get to know folks you see here on Sunday mornings! We look forward to seeing you on Thursday May 24 at 6:30 PM.

~A Celebration of Marriage – In celebration of the marriage of Jet and Theresa Palmberg, we will be collecting cards for them this Sunday. They will be having a small private ceremony in the area at the end of the month. We hope to give them a collection of cards from our community to encourage them in this new season of life! There will be a basket in the foyer for those who would like to contribute.

~Cornerstone serving Turlock Gospel Mission Sunday May 28 – If you would like to be part of this ministry and help serve the homeless, contact the church office at 667-6768.

~Cornerstone Office will be closed on Monday May 28 in observance of Memorial Day.

~Graduating this year or know someone who is? – We want to celebrate with you! On Sunday, June 3, we will celebrate and pray for those who have graduated from High school and college in our community. Please contact the church office and let us know if you or someone you know is graduating so we can include in our celebration!

~The Personality Puzzle A Workshop For Women - Ever been ‘puzzled’ by what makes some people ‘tick’? Or why opposites attract? Are you uncertain of your own God-given potential? Join us on Saturday June 2, 9AM -3PM at Cornerstone Church. Contact: Judi Hedstrom at 480-806-8508.

~ Young Families - Young families’ fun and informative summer weekly gathering. Starting Wed. June 6 through July 25th 5:30 to 7:30. Study to be announced later, but it will be a biblically based parenting study. There will also be a structured and fun program for the children. Dinner will be served.

~Covenant Annual Meeting, Irvine Ca, June 21-24 2012 - The annual meeting is the highest legislative body of the ECC made of representatives from Covenant churches throughout the US and Canada. Delegates gather together for worship and fellowship, and to ordain ministers, consecrate missionaries, elect leaders, review finances, adopt a budget, and address the business of the church. Cornerstone will be sending 3 delegates to the annual meeting…if you are interested please see Bill Gibbs, Chair.

-Adult Bible Study Wednesday evenings – at & PM, Led by Lloyd Ahlem

-Young Couples will not meet during the month of May…see you in June!!

~SUNDAY SCHOOL

-Sunday school meets at 9 AM, Room A-7, Led by Kevin Cripe

-Children Church-Sunday mornings at 10:15 AM – Rm A-2 – Kindergarten through fifth grade is dismissed

during worship. Childcare is provided during the worship hour at 10 AM

~STUDENTS’ MINISTRIES

- The Fireworks Booth will be open this year to support CHIC. The youth are selling vouchers for $20 which can be used to purchase items at the booth. Volunteers and items are needed at the booth. A signup sheet is coming! See Danielle Marty or Chelsea Viss for more information.

-Sunday School 9 AM – Led by special guest, Jeremy Kirkpatrick
