In Partnership with the Evangelical Covenant
Covenant Kids Congo
We are joining forces with strategic partners to make a difference for the gospel internationally. As part of the Covenant Church, we are moved by stories from DR Congo. Although there are stories of war, profound material need and lack of basic infrastructure we are compelled by a different kind of story: we are compelled by a story of hope for a bright future for the people of Equateur.
We stand with our Congolese friends and leaders because they want to keep their children healthy, in school and with opportunities for their dreams to come true. This is the hope that compels us. Joining together with World Vision, this partnership is already seeing sustainable community development changing the lives of thousands through clean water, education, health, agriculture, economic development and advocacy.
April: Celebrate Hope
Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly
In Micah 6:8, we learn that God’s people are called to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. Jesus demonstrated what this looked like by entering into our lives and giving his life to raise us up. By the power of the Spirit, He invites to do the same by coming alongside and extending a hand to help raise up those who are needy, oppressed, and marginalized. Join us in April as we celebrate hope and join God in His work in our world.
